Although this barge will pass under every bridge and through every tunnel in France without lowering the wheelhouse, (we've been under the Capistang bridge with lots to spare), the previous owner kept her in England and had to pass under a low bridge every time he took her out on the Leeds & Liverpool canal. He had a custom soft top fabricated and this adds to her versatility, not only in bridge clearance, but also in turning her into a "convertible" in hot summer time. A nice feature for comfortable crusing while still enabling her to be made watertight in just a minute or two in the event of a shower.
